Bilecik residents are in for a challenging weather forecast as adverse conditions are expected to hit the area starting from the evening. Many students are eagerly following the announcements made by the Governorship, eagerly awaiting news about school closures. With thousands of students wondering whether schools will be closed or not, the anticipation is palpable.

In Bilecik, school closures were announced due to snowfall. The central districts of Bilecik, as well as Pazaryeri and Bozüyük, will have a day off from school due to the risk of heavy snowfall and intense icing. Additionally, in the Osmaneli district, transportation to schools will be halted for one day.

The Governorship of Bilecik stated that due to the high risk of heavy snowfall and severe icing in the central districts of Bilecik, Pazaryeri, and Bozüyük, there will be no school on Thursday, February 20th. In Osmaneli district, transportation to schools will also be suspended for the same day in the following villages: Ağlan, Adliye, Hisarcık, Sarıyazı, Boyunkaya, Oğulpaşa, Avdan, Çiftlik, Belenalan, and Orhaniye.

Furthermore, employees with disabilities, pregnant women, and those with chronic illnesses working in public institutions, as well as women with children attending kindergartens and nurseries, will be granted administrative leave on the mentioned day.
